== Artbook ==

Yay artbook!

Tentatively thinking EITHER a pixel art book which has been a dream for years, or a re:locus one in the vein of the TOKOSHIE series. Or maybe it could be a combination of both! Who knows!

Stuff I like:
* Scenic stuff. Environments
* Game mockups
* Pixel art assets, but also pixel art scenes...pixel art game mockups
* Guidebook mockups/in-universe literature (e.g. fake handbooks, fake magazines, etc.)
* Character introductions
* Sketchbooks/concept art
* Graphic design

Definitely not:
* Just plain full (painted) pieces on every page - pixel might be ok depending...

Consider:
* If doing an in-universe piece, consider doing the text in a cipher font

Subjects
* XIX, in pixel art (locations)
* re:locus character introductions
* re:locus but as a pixel horror game (pixel scenes of cases?)

Format
* If doing one where pixel art is the focus, square or A5 (something smallish)
* If doing mostly large pieces/fullbodies and painted pieces, B5
* Tentatively, shoot for something small - at least 12 pages
* 20 pages good, 32 possibly the maximum that's realistically doable

		+	* She has some autistic features. Greatly prone to being antisocial and taking a lot of things on herself.
		+	* The truth is she's somewhat afraid of people and has a lot of insecurity over not being able to read social cues.
		+	* Also actually, she's not super femme - she dresses more butch just as easily. She picks whatever is the easiest to "look like a well-adjusted person" with, which tends to default to femme.
		+	* Since she doesn't have a good grasp on what's appropriate for the occasion she leans towards the side of overdressing. With close friends she may show up to their house in pyjamas. But really close friends, who live nearby.
		+	* Her friends probably picked out her clothes when she asked them for advice.
		+	* Yeah, she has close friends. But they've been around for very long, and she finds it very hard to make friends outside of this circle. I think Harper isn't part of this circle, she's a separate entity that was one of the rare occasions that Cynthia made a friend(?) without social circle fusion
		+	* She does get lonely. But doesn't express it well, and sometimes takes a while to realise she feels lonely.
		+	* When she's in a good state, she can socialise relatively well, as an adult. She's learnt stuff growing up, but still harbours insecurity over flubbing social interactions.
		+	* Tends to be very critical. Holds herself to high standards.
		+	* The funny thing is that people who barely know her think of her as being a prim and proper, if slightly reserved lady. People she doesn't care about (like on the Internet) and her friends think she's angry all the time. In professional circles she generally tries to avoid prolonged contact, and comes across as being very...businesslike, not very much of a personal touch.
		+	* She's reliable and will tend to take on more work than she can handle because she thinks she can handle it, and isn't willing to admit defeat.
		+	* Part of it's that she tries very hard to keep up what she thinks is the image of a "normal person". Or more than that - a well-adjusted person who is good at their job. She works very hard at what she does and is afraid of everything she's ever built up coming crashing down because she made a mistake.
		+	* Ironically the more stressed and worried she is, the more careless she gets; when she gets completely overloaded she becomes impulsive and frequently makes bad choices without thinking.
		+	* And then that just keeps getting worse. She gets prone to impulse spending and making short term decisions for immediate gratification, often seeking comfort in food, and oddly, hanging out with people (mostly to drink). And then regretting those decisions, but her pride makes it so that she has to justify it...

		+	* Due to her nature, frequently prone to overextending herself (workaholic + extrovert)
		+	* Is really bad at regulating this. Like, really bad. Doesn't realise she's burnt out until she's very burnt out
		+	* When stressed, tends to skip meals, plus has a lean body type so she's something like a tall-ish beanpole
		+	* Masks when stressed. Always keeps up the clown image. People she's closer to can tell she's faking it.
		+	* In certain verses, this stress builds up to really bad levels and no one really knows it because she's trying to present a perfect, lovable image.
		+	* Complexes: lack of control (giving too much of herself), wanting to be something, fear of failure
		+	* Tends to manifest as: getting neurotic about things being Correct, showing signs of being a control freak (at her best she's very carefree and forgiving)
		+	* At worst: surprisingly impulsive moves, sometimes extremely destructive ones (possibly self-destructive)
		+	* ENTP grip: obsession with factual accuracy, making assumptions, trying to prove she's correct, being perfectionistic
		+	* This tends to worry and push people away, because this isn't the Harper they're used to, and this stresses her out even more.
